About Me

Working hard to unearth ungovernable women

Hustle culture is just colonialism in a fleece vest. We quit.

My Story

A recovering people-pleaser, I’ve come out of the other side of that journey an unapologetic trouble-maker. I refuse to play small to make other people comfortable, and I REALLY encourage others to do the same. Life is too short to work and die, so I’m reclaiming my time and energy for things better than listening to mediocre men who think they’re important. Come build something cool with me!

My Bio

After reckoning with the fact that hustle culture is a total sham, I want to help others get off the hamster wheel of productivity for productivity’s sake. I believe that many of us chase abstract life milestones because we think we *should*, not because that’s what we actually want. When we’re doing what’s in alignment with our values, we don’t need to hustle, find more discipline, or force ourselves to show up.

Most business owners (me included) started on their own for FREEDOM. For control over our schedules, clients, and projects. But for many, that vision evaporates quickly as the reality of building a business sets in. I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be like that. You CAN have freedom in your business, but it starts with getting really clear about what *you* actually want. Not what your MBA professors, spouse, employees, or hustle culture bro podcast guy thinks.

I’m here to help you cut through all that noise and get to your truth. The driving force behind what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Together, we’ll look at your personal values, how you want to feel about your business, and what role(s) you want to play. By deconstructing what you’re doing by default and rebuilding with intention, we’ll remove the blockers that are keeping you from achieving your goals. And more importantly, give you freedom and the life you want to live.

Let’s leave hustle culture behind and build meaningful, authentic lives.

When I’m not working or co-hosting the Waffles Friends Work Podcast, I’m likely lifting or throwing something heavy, cosplaying with one or both of my two kids, or in a national or state park somewhere. I also love to read, attend drag shows, and craft.
